Firstly, it is self-published, demonstrating an exploration beyond the realms of Sony Classical. Secondly, the work consists mainly of pieces written by the classical guitar genius himself, some of which he has been playing in concerts for a while, alone, with eminent jazz guitarist John Etheridge, or with multi-instrumentalist Richard Harvey… All the recordings in this beautiful and rare collection are solo and without overdubs.
